At the Sunrise Spectacular, Miguel gathers his courage and sings while matching his vocals with archival video of Ernesto de la Cruz. Later, in the afterlife, the deceased musician saves Miguel from drowning and discovers that the boy is his great-great-grandson.
Mamá Imelda sings at the Sunrise Spectacular. Héctor plays guitar on the side of the stage. Ernest joins the performance and tries to detain Mamá Imelda.
Héctor applies to visit the Land of the Living and receives approval, prompting celebrations with Imelda and his daughter.
The track scores the end credits.
