After the Muppets gets settled in the cinema, the movie starts with Kermit sat in the middle of a swamp playing the banjo to this song.
Kermit and Fozzie begin their road trip and sing this song in Fozzie's uncle's Studebaker.
As Kermit and Fozzie sleep, the Electric Mayhem sing this song whilst 'disguising' the Studebaker
As Miss Piggy wins the pageant, she locks eyes with Kermit. This leads her to fall in love at first sight and imagine what life could be like with him.
This is a reprise which is used as the backtrack whilst Miss Piggy and Kermit are on their date.
After Miss Piggy supposedly leaves Kermit at the restaurant, he heads over to Rowlf, the piano player. They both converse about their troubles with relationships and sing this song.
'The Patriotic Part'
When they're on the road again, they somehow run into a hitchhiking Miss Piggy. This song plays in the background.
Eventually their car breaks down, leaving the Muppets stranded. They all sit down and get ready for the night, with a campfire in the middle. Gonzo says how beautiful the night is, and then begins to sing this lovely, melancholic song.
After they get back on the road, Kermit decides to deal with Mr Hopper. However, just as he is about to get killed, a large form of Animal emerges from a building, scaring the humans away and saving the Muppets.
The Finale song, a song that recalls everything that happened in the movie. The scene is set in a studio, where they are 'making' their own movie.
