When I wake I see Somebody else's dream Playing on a screen And all those dreams of mine Feel so left-behind Waiting to be seen We shake the sleep away And push along into the day I need someone to teach Me to extend my reach And cover all the Earth Do you ask too much? Are you out of touch With your exact worth? Because, to me, it seems Not taken to extremes We can do anything It's there just for the taking Life's a holiday Fear will fall away Take yourself away To a better place Like a holiday Without an end In my dreams I see The whole world chasing me And falling to the ground Then we rise up so high Into the summer sky And take a look around We see the rift between What is and what should be And blame the referee There's always something!
